| Specialised
in dressage As riders, we are specialized in dressage, and as breeders, we try to select Haflingers that have been proven to be dressage horses, and that transmit those characteristics. All our foals have an extended stretchy movement, impulsion and bouncing trot. They all have a good mind and a refined conformation that makes them to be pretty good sport horses. We also show in eventing a few of our more mature horses. We have a very impressive team of young riders all committed to the Haflinger breed ad trained by well known riders and coaches. Come and see us in shows ! |
| Raising Foals
All our foals are imprinted from birth and they are all trained very young to behave well, be groomed and walk on a lead rope. As they grow, our babies are used to the shower, the clipper, the trailer, and we even tie them on their moms to go on trail rides so they get used to traffic. |
| Repro specialist
At Gerval, we also have a reproduction specialist. Emilie Laval has a MSc in Equine Repro, and a Equine Breeding Management and ultrasound Certificate from Ohio State University of Vet Medicine. |
