Conformation for sport: The major concern in Haflingers at this moment is to breed uphill horses so they are able to canter like a warmblood, and move like a warmblood. Style was classified "very uphill" at his classification in 2006 !........and he passes it on ! It allows him to "sit" in dressage and extend his trot. Uphill conformation also allows the horse to jump higher.

Movement : Style, because of his conformation, has much better movement than the average Haflinger. He has a lot of suspension and bounce, and great hock movement. He also extends very well at trot. His canter is a great 3 beat uphill canter. His first foals are under saddle since 2009, and trainers accross the country had the same comment : what a great canter for a 3yrs old, but not just for a Haflinger ! Style foals have great canter as SPORT HORSES.

Wins and ribbons : (There are so many that we will only talk about the greatest ones) Style was champion in hunter shows in USA over 2'6 jumps in Maine. He was also shown in eventing in 2009, and placed 8th in a big 25 horses class, over 2'9 cros country jumps.. His best wins are in dressage. Style was 2008 dressage season winner for 1st level freestyle, and 2nd for technical 1st level, against all breeds ! He will be shown in 2nd level this summer, a level that a very few Haflinger are able to achieve !

Temperament : Style is ridden with mares and other stallions in shows and behaves. He is very brave and transmits this to his babies.

Progeny : His older foals now reach 4yrs old and we start to see them in shows. His son Staccato de Gerval, was shown in June 2010 and won his dressage classes in MN, USA. His daughter Morgane, won the Reserve Champion mare title in 2010 Quebec Haflinger show !

 

The fees for 2010 are : 600$ lfg, multiple mares discount, classified mare discount. Style has been one of the most popular stallion these last 2 year with more than 12 foals every year ! AI only.
