GREAT SHOW SEASON : IT'S ALMOST OVER !
Gerval horses did great again this year. Two of Gerval horses will be shown at the prestigious Quebec Equestrian Games 2010 at Bromont Olympic site ! Sissi de Gerval was qualified to compete in Training level with her rider Kayla Brinda, trained by Emilie Laval. Madrid de Gerval, shown by Melissa Jodoin and trained my Marie-Pierre Carignan will show in 1st level, and has also been qualified to show at the big Night of the Kürs's event on Saturday 18th ! For the overall 2010 show season, here are the results : -Malibu de Gerval, ridden and trained by Emilie Laval : Gold medalist for intro level season Open -Styleschutz, ridden and trained by Emilie Laval : Gold medalist for 2nd level season Open -Perseide de Gerval : ridden and trained by Emilie Laval : Bronze medalist for 1st level season Open -Sissi de Gerval : ridden by Kayla Brinda and trained by Emilie Laval : 4th place for training level season Amateur -Rotterdam: ridden by Elizabeth Leclerc and trained by Emilie Laval : Silver medalist for intro level season Amateur -Madrid de Gerval : ridden by Melissa Jodoin and trained by Marie-Pierre Carignan : Silver medalist for 1st level season Amateur -Hamza : ridden and trained by Emilie Laval : 4th place for intro level season Open |

| June 2010 :
Big week end at Gerval Farm : Saturday the 12 we were at the Quebec Haflinger show with 4 horses. A Styleschutz daughter won the 2010 QuebecReserve Champion mare title in halter class. The Sunday, we were in a dressage show, and Malibu de Gerval won the Grand Champion Title for the open intro division. In Minnesota, USA, Heather and Staccato de Gerval were in a dressage show and won 1st place in Suitability, and got grades of 63% in intro, and 58% in training level test4. Staccato is only 3 yrs old and it was his very first show. |

Styleschutz produced 4 males and 4 fillies. Why is Gerval havong only males ??? At Gerval we prefer selecting sex for geldings which are easier to handle and show. After my master degree, I can choose the sex of my foals with a 70% accuracy. |
